During my academic work I was the recipient of the UNLV Excellence in Marriage and Family Therapy Practice award. Combined with my educational requirements I am certified in Eye-movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) a widely respected form of treatment specific for trauma and abuse.
